After struggling to find the best way to express herself, she finally decided to overcome the pressure and embrace her familial heritage in her own unique way, by getting behind the decks and sharing her long-lasting love for drum’n’bass. She quickly started to blend it with other influences such as Miami Bass, Ghetto House, Jungle & Breaks to craft her musical Identity : intense, playful & versatile.
If you like deep rolling beats as much as the purr of a cat after a hard day of work, then Sassy Girl’s music is for you !
Don’t be misguided by her angelic face, when she says “Amen”, she’s talking about breaks !

Amoureuse des animaux et issue de la scène bass music underground bruxelloise, Sassy Girl a grandi comme seule non-musicienne dans une famille de musiciens.
Après avoir longtemps cherché la meilleure façon de s’exprimer, elle a finalement décidé de surmonter la pression et d’embrasser son héritage familial à sa manière, en se mettant derrière les platines et en partageant son indéfectible amour pour la drum’n’bass. Elle a rapidement commencé à la mélanger avec d’autres influences telles que la Miami Bass, la Ghetto House, la Jungle et les Breaks pour forger son identité musicale : intense, ludique et polyvalente.

Als dierenliefhebber uit de Brusselse ondergrondse bassmuziekscene groeide Sassy Girl op als enige non-muzikant in een muzikale familie.
Na lang zoeken naar de beste manier om zichzelf te uiten, besloot ze uiteindelijk de druk te overwinnen en haar familiale erfgoed op haar eigen unieke manier te omarmen, door achter de draaitafels te kruipen en haar langdurige liefde voor drum-‘n-bass te delen. Al snel begon ze dit te combineren met andere invloeden, zoals Miami Bass, Ghetto House, Jungle & Breaks, om haar muzikale identiteit te creëren: intens, speels en veelzijdig.
Als je net zo veel van diepe, rollende beats houdt als van het snorren van een kat na een dag hard werken, dan is de muziek van Sassy Girl echt iets voor jou!

Living in a constant stream of music since he was 14 years old, Cellarman is first and foremost a music lover with extremely diverse tastes, who loves to know and collect the music that moves him. After rewarding professional experiences in teaching, IT, customer service, sales and agriculture, he bought his first DJ controller in early 2021, and discovered a passion for deejaying while mixing in small private parties in Brussels.

Cellarman launched his own party concept under the name Drum & Beer with the help of Mego, after meeting him, BenOneShot, Sisley, Whyam’me, Nesia and Seka during the Chill2Chill party at Tour & Taxis in August 2021. Drum & Beer started in small bars where you could drink local craft beers, and after nearly 4 years and 30 parties under its belt, Cellarman decided to take it to the next level, with bigger locations and international artists.

Playing at most Drum & Beer parties, as well as at other local parties (Carnivore & Friends, Out Of Control, Jungle Trouble, Belgian Junglists, Bankizz, Low Spec Recs,…), and on the radio (Saturday Night Panik and All About Grime on Radio Panik, Drum’On’Day on Radio Campus, Liquid Flavaz on Urgent.fm, Take A Break on Radio Villa Bota, The Other Side of Breaks on Power FM and Infrared.fm,…) has enabled Cellarman to build a strong experience in deejaying. He likes to take his listeners on a trip through DnB subgenres, surprising them with old school classics and new gems.

Vivant dans un flux musical constant depuis ses 14 ans, Cellarman est avant tout un mélomane aux goûts extrêmement variés, qui adore connaître et collectionner la musique qui le touche. Après des expériences professionnelles enrichissantes dans l’enseignement, l’informatique, le service client, la vente et l’agriculture, il achète son premier contrôleur DJ début 2021, et se découvre une passion pour le deejaying en mixant dans de petites soirées privées à Bruxelles.

Cellarman lance son propre concept de soirée sous le nom Drum & Beer avec l’aide de Mego, après l’avoir rencontré, lui, BenOneShot, Sisley, Whyam’me, Nesia et Seka lors de la soirée Chill2Chill à Tour & Taxis en août 2021. Drum & Beer a commencé dans de petits bars où l’on pouvait boire des bières artisanales locales, et après presque 4 ans et 30 soirées à son actif, Cellarman a décidé de passer au niveau supérieur, dans des lieux plus grands et avec des artistes internationaux.

Jouer à la plupart des soirées Drum & Beer, ainsi qu’à d’autres soirées locales (Carnivore & Friends, Out Of Control, Jungle Trouble, Belgian Junglists, Bankizz, Low Spec Recs,…. ), et à la radio (Saturday Night Panik et All About Grime sur Radio Panik, Drum’On’Day sur Radio Campus, Liquid Flavaz sur Urgent.fm, Take A Break sur Radio Villa Bota, The Other Side of Breaks sur Power FM et Infrared.fm,…) a permis à Cellarman de se forger une solide expérience en tant que DJ. Il aime emmener ses auditeurs en voyage au travers des sous-genres de DnB, les surprenant avec des classiques old school et des pépites récentes.

Sinds zijn 14e leeft Cellarman in een constante stroom van muziek. Hij is eerst en vooral een muziekliefhebber met een zeer diverse smaak, die de muziek die hem ontroert graag kent en verzamelt. Na waardevolle professionele ervaringen in het onderwijs, IT, klantenservice, verkoop en landbouw, kocht hij begin 2021 zijn eerste DJ-controller en ontdekte hij zijn passie voor deejayen door te mixen op kleine privéfeestjes in Brussel.

Drum & Beer begon in kleine bars waar je lokale ambachtelijke bieren kon drinken en na bijna 4 jaar en 30 feesten besloot Cellarman het naar een hoger niveau te brengen, met grotere locaties en internationale artiesten.

Door op bijna alle Drum & Beer feesten te spelen, maar ook op andere lokale feesten (Carnivore & Friends, Out Of Control, Jungle Trouble, Belgian Junglists, Bankizz, Low Spec Recs,…. ), en op de radio (Saturday Night Panik en All About Grime op Radio Panik, Drum’On’Day op Radio Campus, Liquid Flavaz op Urgent.fm, Take A Break op Radio Villa Bota, The Other Side of Breaks op Power FM en Infrared.fm,…) heeft Cellarman een sterke ervaring opgebouwd in deejayen. Hij neemt zijn luisteraars graag mee op een reis door DnB-subgenres, waarbij hij ze verrast met old school klassiekers en nieuwe juweeltjes.

It all began in 2000, when Initial acquired his first vinyl turntables, laying the foundations for his musical journey. A few years later, he made his debut on the radio, where he learned the subtleties of animation and developed essential skills by actively participating in the presentation of weekly shows. His career in Brussels radio led him to create his own program, Zone Inconnue, in 2008, a project that quickly made its mark.

A pioneer and fervent defender of the Brussels underground movement, Initial has established himself as an artist with an eclectic style, drawing his inspiration from the deep roots of Breakbeat, Jungle and Drum & Bass. As a DJ, his playground extends far beyond the borders of Brussels, with memorable performances at iconic venues such as the Coliséum (Charleroi), Caves de Cornillon (Liège), ACB Factory, KultuurKaffee, Relais Tir, SteelGate, T. A.G, RIC’s Boat, Fulmar, Recyclart, Skatepark des Ursulines and Alter Ego (Poland), to name but a few.

Are you ready for some serious drum ‘n bass? These guys earned early merits with their own events, where they invited big names as Pendulum, Wilkinson, Noisia and Sigma. Since Cedex and Higher Underground joined forces, they became unstoppable behind the decks.

Expect an explosive mix of drum ‘n bass in every way possible. A dynamic duo that knows how to please a crowd, which led them to the stages of Tomorrowland, Solar Festival and Star Warz. Also clubs as Café d’Anvers, Decadance and Vooruit received a banging set of these two.

Hailing from Gent, Mush started MCing in 2003. His focus lays on lyrical content and giving space for the music to speak for itself. Complementing the music and helping build a great atmosphere are his best skills. He’s hosted sets at Mentallab, Steam and Star Warz, as well as Tomorrowland, Dour, Rock Herk, Pole Pole (Gentse Feesten) and Lokerse Feesten.

Originaire de Gand, Mush a entamé sa carrière de MC en 2003. Son attention se porte principalement sur le contenu lyrique et sur l’espace accordé à la musique pour parler d’elle-même. Mettre la musique en valeur et contribuer à instaurer une atmosphère agréable sont ses principaux talents. Il a déjà été MC pour Mentallab, Steam et Star Warz, ainsi qu’à Tomorrowland, Dour, Rock Herk, Pole Pole (Gentse Feesten) et aux Lokerse Feesten.

We are super happy to welcome Dconvict, the Belgian DnB vinyl god, to our party next saturday 😍

DConvict is who the OG core of the Belgian dnb community refers to as the ancient one, the walking encyclopedia, the historian, the collector, the backbone, the teacher and the eternal student at the same time. Few in this scene are so accomplished in their knowledge and ability to play out any single kind of fast breakbeat music in a seamless voyage of sound, touching all sides of the spectrum and of the drum & bass history, at the same time highly entertaining, with a touch of crowd education. He’s been rockin’ it since 1879 and will still be doing so years after the rest of us will have passed.

DConvict est celui que le noyau dur de la communauté dnb belge appelle l’ancien, l’encyclopédie ambulante, l’historien, le collectionneur, la colonne vertébrale, le professeur et l’éternel étudiant tout à la fois. Peu dans ce milieu sont aussi accomplis en termes de connaissances et de capacité à jouer n’importe quel type de musique breakbeat rapide dans un voyage sonore fluide, touchant tous les côtés du spectre et de l’histoire de la drum & bass, tout en étant hautement divertissant, avec une touche d’éducation collective. Sa carrière remonte à 1879 et elle se poursuivra encore des années après la disparition du reste d’entre nous.

DConvict wordt door de OG-kern van de Belgische dnb-gemeenschap de oude, de levende encyclopedie, de historicus, de verzamelaar, de steunpilaar, de leraar en de eeuwige student tegelijk genoemd. Weinigen in deze scene zijn zo bedreven in hun kennis en vermogen om elke soort snelle breakbeatmuziek te spelen in een naadloze reis van geluid, waarbij ze alle kanten van het spectrum en van de drum & bass-geschiedenis raken, en tegelijkertijd ontzettend onderhoudend zijn, met een vleugje publiekseducatie. Hij beukt er al op los sinds 1879 en zal dat nog steeds doen jaren nadat de rest van ons voorbij zijn.
