It all began in 2000, when Initial acquired his first vinyl turntables, laying the foundations for his musical journey. A few years later, he made his debut on the radio, where he learned the subtleties of animation and developed essential skills by actively participating in the presentation of weekly shows. His career in Brussels radio led him to create his own program, Zone Inconnue, in 2008, a project that quickly made its mark.
A pioneer and fervent defender of the Brussels underground movement, Initial has established himself as an artist with an eclectic style, drawing his inspiration from the deep roots of Breakbeat, Jungle and Drum & Bass. As a DJ, his playground extends far beyond the borders of Brussels, with memorable performances at iconic venues such as the Coliséum (Charleroi), Caves de Cornillon (Liège), ACB Factory, KultuurKaffee, Relais Tir, SteelGate, T. A.G, RIC’s Boat, Fulmar, Recyclart, Skatepark des Ursulines and Alter Ego (Poland), to name but a few.

Het begon allemaal in 2000, toen Initial zijn eerste draaitafels kocht en daarmee de basis legde voor zijn muzikale reis. Een paar jaar later maakte hij zijn debuut op de radio, waar hij de subtiliteiten van het hosten leerde en essentiële vaardigheden ontwikkelde door actief deel te nemen aan het presenteren van wekelijkse shows. Zijn carrière bij de Brusselse radio leidde ertoe dat hij in 2008 zijn eigen programma, Zone Inconnue, creëerde, een project dat snel aansloeg.
Als pionier en fervent verdediger van de Brusselse underground beweging, heeft Initial zich gevestigd als een artiest met een eclectische stijl, zijn inspiratie puttend uit de diepe wortels van Breakbeat, Jungle en Drum & Bass. At 27 years old, Aethra has already built himself a large experience in the Drum & Bass scene. Hailing from Liege, he started mixing dnb in 2016, in the New School Jump Up style, under the names “Skankage” and “Machine Attax”. He has performed at many parties in Belgium under those names, and has produced tracks for Liondub International, Down 2 Earth Music and Subway Soundz. Influenced by Netsky, BCee, Lomax, Kove, and Camo & Krooked, he decided to experiment into a more varied genre, and started producing liquid, ambient, and now even neurofunk tracks. His first release came out in June 2022 on Celsius recordings and earned him praise from LTJ Bukem!
He is now working on several neurofunk tracks, which you’ll certainly hear in his set on Saturday 👀

Onder die namen heeft hij op veel feesten in België opgetreden en tracks geproduceerd voor Liondub International, Down 2 Earth Music en Subway Soundz. Whyam’me bought her first turntables in 2002, and practiced for two years before starting to mix at parties. She was lucky enough to be very well supported at the beginning, notably by KLASH, THX and T-Psy.
Over the years, she has become more and more involved in Neurofunk and Dark Drum n Bass.
She formed the band Ex-Aequo with T-Psy, they released the track “Rebound” on Histeria Records, and performed regularly together.
Whyam’me joined the Bankizz and Chill2Chill teams, who took her to play on big stages, giving her the opportunity to mix with many DJs from all walks of life, and feeding the continuous evolution of her technique.
Whyam’me has played in Luxembourg for Snaaserie, at the Tour de Samme festival, at the Recyclart for Drum Room, at the Palais 12 for Chill2Chill and for F*ckin’ Beat, at the KultuurKaffe, at the Palais des Congrès in Liège, at the Caves de Cornillon. She also played several times on the airwaves, in the “Zone Inconnue” show on Radio Vibration, on Radio Panik and on Radio Extremix.
After a short break in her DJ career, Whyam’me is re-launching the music inside her and reopening herself to other sub-genres of DnB. She joined the Drum & Beer team, finding support, friendship, reliability and commitment to DnB.

James Marvel’s musical background benefits from broad musical and cultural influences spanning back to his early childhood when he learned guitar and saxophone, and later studied piano at the Ghent & Brussels Conservatories. Before making the switch to electronic music, James Marvel aka Jens Blaute, played keyboard with several bands in Belgium and Holland.
Taking influence from drum and bass producers such as Ed Rush & Optical and Bad Company, he launched his production career under the moniker James Marvel in 2011 and quickly caught the attention of tastemakers in the scene, gaining support from labels and promotional channels such as Ammunition Recordings, Titan Recordings, Liquicity, Neurofunkgrid and Skanknbass before signing an exclusive contract with AudioPorn and releasing his “I Am The Robot” EP in 2013. Remixing Xilent’s “Bosswave” to great effect gained him a lot of follow up attention.
He then went on to deliver hit single after hit single with titles like Way Of The Warrior, Trump and Dominator, the latter being produced in collaboration with June Miller and being released on the renowned RAM Records. These releases brought him 3 nominations in 2015’s Drum & Bass Arena Awards in the categories Best Newcomer Producer, Best Track for Way Of The Warrior and Best Remix for his remix of Dub FX’s Back To Basics in collaboration with Hypoxia.
James Marvel and MC Mota have developed a strong friendship and collaborated very often on DnB tracks. Many of Marvel’s greatest tracks feature Mota on vocals, who can deliver off-key spitfire raps like in “Way of the Warrior”, a heavy and deep voice like in “Trump”, or soulful singing as in “Whatever Brings You Down” or “Face of the Earth”.
With bookings at world renowned music events like Tomorrowland, Pukkelpop, Rock Werchter, Dour Festival, Rampage, Laundry Day, Star Warz, Let It Roll and UKF @ Fabric just to name a few, James Marvel has developed a solid reputation for delivering technically apt, highly energetic and memorable performances wherever you’ll find him delivering his widely varied taste of fast breakbeat music.
Recently, James Marvel has spent most of his time in Drum & Bass organising events at Kompass and nurturing Space Pirates, his label. He’s also found new joy in organizing and performing at small classical music events at his flat in Brussels.

What is a story without a plot? A journey without a destination? A movie without a soundtrack? A song without emotion?
These are the questions that carve Rustam Mansurov and James Peacock’s unique dynamic signature as Magnetude, an act with one of the most distinctive, exciting and dramatic sounds in contemporary drum & bass.
On a much deeper level, these questions are what magnetised the Anglo/Russian duo together in the first place. Born thousands of miles apart – and seemingly kept apart through an array of life complications – they remain kindred spirits connected through a series of shared passions, visions and creative ideologies.
Both sharing rich histories in music – Rustam was playing piano aged 9, James was playing violin aged 12 – they’re both heavily inspired by the importance of detail, orchestral dynamics and story-telling in music. Moved by the works of composers ranging from Ennio Morricone and Danny Elfman to Amon Tobin, John Williams to Ilya Beshevli, no amount of distance can quench the duo’s synergy and energy.
It’s a synergy that began in 2010 when they met on VKontake, and developed when Rustam was signed to Close 2 Death, a label James was A&R for at the time. In 2015 it evolved into a much stronger energy when the pair left Close 2 Death and started to collaborate on their own music. By 2016 the ‘Hyperdrive’ EP was born and Magnetude was ready to reveal to the world. It was delivered by one of most influential, innovative stables in the heavier D&B pastures at the time – Lifted Music.
Quickly appearing on some of the most prominent imprints in drum & bass culture such as Eatbrain, Renegade Hardware, Viper and RAM Records, their music has gone on to appear on games such as Project Cars and Freaked Fleapit, and between them they’ve torn dancefloors apart from Creamfields to Let It Roll, Pirate Station to XOYO. Most recently, they’ve co-founded the exciting forward-thinking, community-minded collective Evolution Chamber alongside like-minded fusionists Task Horizon and Receptor.

Voilà les questions qui façonnent la signature sonore de Rustam Mansurov et James Peacock en tant que Magnetude, un des groupes aux sons les plus distinctifs, passionnants et dramatiques de la drum & bass contemporaine.
À un niveau beaucoup plus profond, ce sont ces questions qui ont attiré le duo anglo-russe l’un vers l’autre. Nés à des milliers de kilomètres l’un de l’autre et apparemment séparés par une série de complications de la vie, ils restent des âmes sœurs liées par une série de passions, de visions et d’idéologies créatives communes.
Tous deux riches d’une longue histoire musicale – Rustam jouait du piano à 9 ans, James du violon à 12 ans –, ils sont fortement inspirés par l’importance du détail, de la dynamique orchestrale et de la narration dans la musique. Born in 1995 in a small village in Luxembourg, DJ Sheitan discovered Drum & Bass at the age of 18, thanks to close friends who invited him to a Jungle event called Subculture in Luxembourg City. It was love at first sight. From that moment on, his passion and dedication for Drum & Bass only grew stronger, fueled by countless events and festivals such as Snaaserie, Kinetik, Eatbrain, Rampage, Korsakov, Enter the Future, Star Warz, Tiefklang, Let It Roll, Outlook, Sun and Bass, and many more.
In 2018, he began mixing. When his former roommate—the same friend who first introduced him to Drum & Bass—purchased quality DJ equipment, a new passion was sparked in Sheitan. Driven by curiosity, he started exploring the deeper corners of the genre, constantly searching for the next hidden gem. His musical journey led him from Jungle to Jump-Up, from Neurofunk down to Liquid and Deep Drum & Bass. Inspired by artists such as Marcus Intalex, DJ Marky, DLR, QZB, Calibre, Lenzman, LSB, Roy Green & Protone, Need for Mirrors, Bredren, Alix Perez, Jam Thieves and many more, he aims to draw the crowd toward the speakers and put smiles of satisfaction on their faces. His friends began calling him Sheitan—arabic for “evil spirit”—the one who keeps you dancing even when you planned to go home.
Gratefully, Sheitan has had the opportunity to perform at a variety of events, from forest raves to weddings, as well as official and unofficial gatherings such as Brokenbass, Beyond the Senses, Hackerspace/Bytenight, Belgitek, Saturdaynightpanik, Area 51, Radio Campus, and hopefully many more to come.
Since co-founding Bass Efficace in 2022, he has been committed to contributing to the evolution of the Drum & Bass subculture. Through its underground events, Bass Efficace brings together like-minded people and emphasizes core values such as support, sharing, respect, and inclusion. In doing so, they have created a safe space where people can experience unforgettable moments and emotions together—while discovering new emerging talents as well as established DJs.

Geïnspireerd door artiesten als Marcus Intalex, DJ Marky, DLR, QZB, Calibre, Lenzman, LSB, Roy Green & Protone, Need for Mirrors, Bredren, Alix Perez, Jam Thieves en nog veel meer, wil hij het publiek naar de luidsprekers trekken en een glimlach van tevredenheid op hun gezichten toveren. Zijn vrienden begonnen hem Sheitan te noemen – Arabisch voor ‘ duivelse geest’ – degene die je laat dansen, zelfs als je van plan was om naar huis te gaan.
Met dankbaarheid heeft Sheitan de kans gekregen om op te treden op verschillende evenementen, van forest raves tot bruiloften, maar ook op officiële en onofficiële bijeenkomsten zoals Brokenbass, Beyond the Senses, Hackerspace/Bytenight, Belgitek, Saturdaynightpanik, Area 51, Radio Campus, en hopelijk nog veel meer in de toekomst.
Sinds hij in 2022 Bass Efficace mede oprichtte, zet hij zich in om bij te dragen aan de evolutie van de drum-&-bass-subcultuur. Via zijn underground-evenementen brengt Bass Efficace gelijkgestemden samen en benadrukt het kernwaarden als ondersteuning, delen, respect en inclusie. Gobs de BXL fell in love with breakbeats long before he had hair on his chest. Since then, said hair has conquered his chest and parts of his back while his love has only grown stronger. A true millennial with the attention span of a sparrow on speed, his fast paced and ever changing productions reflect his belief that monotony is a cardinal sin. His mixes similarly span a wide variety of fast electronic breakbeats delivered with cut throat precision (figuratively speaking, since he’s also part of a number of non-violent ecological movements and cutting throats would be hypocritical to say the least). With three eclectic releases on Space Pirate recordings under his belt and many more planned for 2026, Gobs is certainly one to watch…

Antoine Pauels, known by his stage name Black District, was born in Carrefour, Haiti. He discovered his passion for Drum and Bass in 2017 and began DJing at private parties and small Drum and Bass events. In 2021, he joined the Out of Control D&B Crew, marking the beginning of his journey into larger national and international stages.
He’s already had the chance of playing in Belgium, Germany, Finland, Malta and the United Arab Emirates, shared the stage with Pola & Bryson, has been hosted by MC Fava and MC Co-Defender, and plays regularly on Neau Radio.
With a dynamic and energetic style, Black District continues to carve his path in the Drum and Bass scene, proving indeed that Jungle is massive.
