At the age of 11, BNH developed an unquenchable passion for music. At 16, he immersed himself in hip-hop, perfecting his moves until he was 18. It was only at the age of 33 that he started DJing, initially attracted by Afro House and Deep House. His career evolved towards minimal techno and tech-house, further enriching his style. Today, he explores the sounds of Drum & Bass, Bass House and UK Garage, always on the lookout for new musical horizons.

À 11 ans, BNH se découvre une passion dévorante pour la musique. À 16 ans, il se plonge dans le hip-hop, perfectionnant ses mouvements jusqu’à ses 18 ans. Ce n’est qu’à 33 ans qu’il devient DJ, d’abord attiré par l’Afro House et la Deep House. Sa carrière évolue vers la minimal techno et la tech-house, enrichissant son style. Aujourd’hui, il explore les sonorités de la Drum & Bass, la Bass House, et le UK Garage, toujours à la recherche de nouveaux horizons musicaux.

BNH ontdekte zijn onweerstaanbare passie voor muziek toen hij 11 jaar oud was. Op zijn 16e verdiepte hij zich in hiphop en perfectioneerde hij zijn moves tot hij 18 was. Pas op zijn 33e werd hij DJ, aanvankelijk aangetrokken door Afro House en Deep House. Zijn carrière groeide uit tot minimal techno en tech-house, waarmee hij zijn stijl verrijkte. Tegenwoordig verkent hij de geluiden van Drum & Bass, Bass House en UK Garage, altijd op zoek naar nieuwe muzikale perspectieven.

Brought up on a collection of records and CDs of underground music from the 80’s and 90’s, he learnt to appreciate different styles such as House, New Wave, Techno, Hip-Hop and Reggae, then sought to explore other genres and sub genres.
He started mixing on vinyl in 2003, mainly in Techno and Drum & Bass. He joined the CL-AUDIO Records collective, and participated in the organization of Drum & Bass events in Brussels between 2005 and 2012. He played alongside guests like Total Science, State Of Mind, Danny Byrd,… In 2013 he meets I-SON and creates with him “Catch My Bass”, eclectic parties with Kromestar, Egoless, and Requake as guests.
Today SYNS is a member of the “Reboot” collective as resident DJ, playing House, Broken Beat and Breaks, mainly on vinyl. Reboot shares a space and collaborates closely with Hospice Records, in the center of Brussels at Grand Hospice. He’s been hosting the “All About Grime” show since 2018, on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month from 9:30pm to 11:30pm, on Radio Panik @105.4 fm. Interviews, guest mixes, reviews and much more!

Bercé par une collection de disques et de CDs de musique underground des années 80’s et 90’s, il apprend à apprécier des styles différents comme la House, la New Wave, la Techno, le Hip-Hop et le Reggae, et cherche ensuite à explorer d’autres genres et sous genres.
En 2003, il commence à mixer sur vinyle, principalement en Techno et Drum & Bass. Il entre dans le collectif CL-AUDIO Records, et participe à l’organisation d’événement Drum & Bass à Bruxelles entre 2005 et 2012. Il a joué auprès de guest comme Total Science, State Of Mind, Danny Byrd,… En 2013 il rencontre I-SON et crée avec lui “Catch My Bass”, des soirées éclectiques avec en guest Kromestar, Egoless, et Requake.
Aujourd’hui SYNS est membre du collectif “Reboot” en tant que DJ résident, dans un style House, Broken Beat et Breaks, joué principalement aux vinyles. Reboot partage un espace et collabore étroitement avec Hospice Records, dans le centre de Bruxelles au Grand Hospice. Opgevoed met een verzameling platen en cd’s van underground muziek uit de jaren ’80 en ’90, leerde hij verschillende stijlen waarderen, zoals House, New Wave, Techno, Hip-Hop en Reggae, en zocht daarna andere genres en subgenres op.
In 2003 begon hij te mixen op vinyl, voornamelijk in Techno en Drum & Bass. Hij werd lid van het CL-AUDIO Records collectief, en nam deel aan de organisatie van Drum & Bass evenementen in Brussel tussen 2005 en 2012. Hij speelde samen met gasten als Total Science, State Of Mind, Danny Byrd,… In 2013 ontmoet hij I-SON en creëert met hem “Catch My Bass”, eclectische feesten met Kromestar, Egoless, en Requake als gasten.
Vandaag is SYNS lid van het “Reboot” collectief als resident DJ, waar hij House, Broken Beat en Breaks draait, voornamelijk op vinyl. Reboot deelt een ruimte en werkt nauw samen met Hospice Records, in het centrum van Brussel bij Grand Hospice. Sinds 2018 host hij de “All About Grime” show, op de 2e en 4e zaterdag van de maand van 21u30 tot 23u30, op Radio Panik @105.4 fm. Interviews, gastmixen, recensies en nog veel meer!
Living in a constant stream of music since he was 14 years old, Cellarman is first and foremost a music lover with extremely diverse tastes, who loves to know and collect the music that moves him. After rewarding professional experiences in teaching, IT, customer service, sales and agriculture, he bought his first DJ controller in early 2021, and discovered a passion for deejaying while mixing in small private parties in Brussels.
He meets BenOneShot, Sisley and Mego during the Chill2Chill party in Tour & Taxis in August 2021. A strong friendship is formed between Mego and Cellarman in the following months, carried by a common passion for Drum & Bass. They decide to launch together the concept of parties imagined by Cellarman, “Drum & Beer”, small Drum & Bass parties in Brussels, where you can enjoy local craft beers.

Vivant dans un flot musical constant depuis ses 14 ans, Cellarman est avant tout un mélomane aux goûts extrêmement variés, qui adore connaître et collectionner la musique qui le touche. Après des expériences professionnelles enrichissantes dans l’enseignement, l’informatique, le service client, la vente et l’agriculture, il achète son premier contrôleur DJ début 2021, et se découvre une passion pour le deejaying en mixant dans de petites soirées privées à Bruxelles.
Il rencontre BenOneShot, Sisley et Mego lors de la soirée Chill2Chill à Tour & Taxis en août 2021. Une forte amitié se noue entre Mego et Cellarman dans les mois qui suivent, portée par une passion commune pour la Drum & Bass. Ils décident de lancer ensemble le concept de soirées imaginé par Cellarman, “Drum & Beer”, des petites soirées de Drum & Bass sur Bruxelles, où l’on peut déguster des bières locales et artisanales.

Cellarman leeft sinds zijn 14e in een constante stroom van muziek. Hij is in de eerste plaats een muziekliefhebber met een zeer diverse smaak, die graag de muziek kent en verzamelt die hem aan het hart gaat. Na lonende professionele ervaringen in het onderwijs, IT, klantenservice, verkoop en landbouw, kocht hij begin 2021 zijn eerste DJ-controller, en ontdekte een passie voor deejaying tijdens het mixen op kleine privéfeesten in Brussel.
Hij ontmoet BenOneShot, Sisley en Mego tijdens het Chill2Chill feest in Tour & Taxis in augustus 2021. Een sterke vriendschap wordt gevormd tussen Mego en Cellarman in de volgende maanden, gedragen door een gemeenschappelijke passie voor Drum & Bass. Ze besluiten samen het door Cellarman bedachte concept van feesten te lanceren, “Drum & Beer”, kleine Drum & Bass feesten in Brussel, waar je lokale en ambachtelijke bieren kunt proeven.

It all began in the year 2000, when Initial acquired his first vinyl turntables.
He made his first steps in radio a few years later, where he learned many animation techniques by participating in the presentation of weekly shows. His evolution in the Brussels radio scene allows him to create the show “Zone Inconnue” on radio Vibration in 2008.
Pioneer and proud representative of the Brussels underground movement (& beyond), his playground as a DJ is inspired by the very roots of Breakbeat, Jungle and Drum & Bass.
Initial has played at the Coliséum (Charleroi), Caves de Cornillon (Liège), ACB Factory (Bxl), KultuurKaffee (Bxl), Relais Tir (Bxl), SteelGate (Bxl), T.A.G (Bxl), RIC’s Boat (Bxl), Fulmar (Bxl), Recyclart (Bxl), Skatepark des Ursulines (Bxl), Alter Ego (Poland), as well as in many other unusual places.

Il fait ses premiers pas en radio quelques années plus tard, où il apprend de nombreuses techniques d’animation en participant à la présentation d’émissions hebdomadaires. Son évolution dans le milieu radio Bruxellois lui permet de créer l’émission “Zone Inconnue” en 2008.
Pionnier et fier représentant du mouvement underground Bruxellois (& au-delà), son terrain de jeux en tant que DJ s’inspire des racines même du Breakbeat, de la Jungle et de la Drum & Bass.
