Hailing from Gent, Mush started MCing in 2003. His focus lays on lyrical content and giving space for the music to speak for itself. Complementing the music and helping build a great atmosphere are his best skills. He’s hosted sets at Mentallab, Steam and Star Warz, as well as Tomorrowland, Dour, Rock Herk, Pole Pole (Gentse Feesten) and Lokerse Feesten.
Afkomstig uit Gent, Mush begon het MC’en in 2003. Zijn focus ligt op lyrische inhoud en ruimte aan de muziek geven om voor zichzelf te spreken. De muziek perfect aanvullen en een geweldige sfeer helpen opbouwen zijn zijn beste vaardigheden. Hij is al host geweest bij Mentallab, Steam en Star Warz, daarnaast heeft hij ook sets op Tomorrowland, Dour, Rock Herk, Pole Pole (Gentse Feesten) en Lokerse Feesten gehost.
As a major figure in the Belgian drum’n’bass movement, Speedwagon has done and seen it all—yet he’s far from ready to retire. Over the past 25 years, he has set countless dancefloors ablaze. With a consistently packed DJ schedule, he has performed all across Belgium and beyond, gracing major festivals, legendary venues, cozy youth houses, and underground raves. Masterfully blending all subgenres of drum’n’bass, he keeps the energy high and the beats relentless.
In addition to his DJ career, Speedwagon has also made his mark as a promoter, hosting his own events. These include the legendary Nightscapes (2000–2007) and Conform (2005–present), featuring artists like Andy C, Ed Rush, DJ Marky, Aphrodite, and Dillinja. More recently, he launched What-U-On-About!? (2014–present), one of Belgium’s hottest drum’n’bass events, with headliners such as Shy FX, S.P.Y, Mefjus, Friction, and Skeptical.
Beyond DJing and event promotion, Speedwagon is also an accomplished producer. His tracks have received support and feedback from legends like Fabio, Doc Scott, LTJ Bukem, Technimatic, and LSB. He has released music on renowned labels including Fokuz Recordings, Radar Records, Midas Touch, Influence, and Celsius.
Speedwagon is een belangrijke figuur in de Belgische drum’n’bass-beweging die alles gedaan en gezien heeft maar toch is hij nog lang niet klaar om met pensioen te gaan. In de afgelopen 25 jaar heeft hij talloze dansvloeren in vuur en vlam gezet. Met een voortdurend volle DJ-agenda heeft hij overal in België en daarbuiten opgetreden; grote festivals, legendarische clubs, gezellige jeugdhuizen en underground raves. Door alle subgenres van drum’n’bass meesterlijk te mengen, houdt hij de energie hoog en de beats hard.
Naast zijn DJ-carrière heeft Speedwagon ook zijn stempel gedrukt als promotor, door zijn eigen evenementen te organiseren. Tropmanga started mixing Drum & Bass on vinyl in 2003. He discovered old skool Jungle and Ragga Jungle a few years later, and became a huge fan of the Amen Break and everything that comes with it. He became part of the Monkey Business crew and created the Unification Soundsystem in 2012. He has already played in the UK, Holland, Germany and Lithuania, and has released tracks on Labelless Records, Supercharger, More Fire, and Monkey Business.
Tropmanga startte Drum & Bass op vinyl te mixen in 2003. Een paar jaar later ontdekte hij old skool Jungle en Ragga Jungle en werd hij een enorme fan van de Amen Break en alles wat daarbij hoort. Bman is a Belgium based DJ and producer, who started deejaying in 2000 at the age of 12. After a few years of playing around, he started mixing jungle music in 2008 and founded Monkey Business Soundsystem. He has since organized many Jungle parties in Flanders and in Maastricht, under the names Monkey Business and Belgian Junglists. He mostly plays Ragga Jungle with some ambient influenced Jungle, and produces Ragga Jungle, ambient influenced Jungle, Breakcore and IDM, and has played in the UK, Russia, Germany, Holland, Latvia, and Lithuania. His releases have already been featured on Monkey Business, More Fire, and Satta Sounds.
Bman is een dj en producer uit België, die in 2000 begon te draaien, toen hij 12 jaar oud was. Na een paar jaar spelen begon hij in 2008 met het mixen van junglemuziek en richtte hij Monkey Business Soundsystem op. Sindsdien heeft hij vele Jungle feesten in Vlaanderen en Maastricht georganiseerd, onder de namen Monkey Business en Belgian Junglists. Respawn is a Belgian DJ, promoter and founding member of the Mashup Business crew.
He discovered Drum and Bass in 1999, while out at a free party with 3 friends. They bought their first vinyl records, played their discoveries to each other, started mixing, and formed the ‘Kitchen crew’ together. He met Mego in 2002 during a visit to Miss Elorak’s record shop, StressDaBass, and took part in his ‘Megotrip’ show on Radio Panik for a year and a half, doing interviews, reports, news, mixing and covering free parties.
The Kitchen crew evolved within the Belgian DnB scene, through mixes, participations and collaborations. Each member found his own musical path, some of them Breaks, others Breakcore and Respawn jungle, a genre for which his thirst has never been quenched, always on the lookout for new sounds ever since he discovered it. As the years went by, he went back in time to see where jungle started, discovering rave, dub and reggae. He developed a lifelong passion for jungle, taking the years 92 to 94 as his favourite period, looking for jungle beats and rhythms everywhere, both in current dnb and dubstep.
After many encounters, Respawn created ‘Mashup Business’ in 2004 with Rhumble and Alowa, to promote the jungle sounds they liked so much. They organised parties until 2008, and were among the first to introduce the new wave of Ragga Jungle hailing from North America. They invited some of the most talented DJs and producers of the moment to memorable parties (including Twinhooker & Paulie Walnuts from Mad Dem Sound, Chopstick Dubplate, Debaser, Tester, General Malice, U-ome, Raw, Aaron Spectre, Jahba, Ripclaw, Obookubo, FFF, Pisstank, Atik, MC Assassin) as well as a host of Belgian DJs (Lady Lite, Meche, Dconvict, Nickynuts, Cedex & Higher Underground, System D, Miss Elorak, Saiko, THX, N-Flow, Riot, Assassimon, Non-Prophet, and many more).
From 2003 to 2009 Respawn mixed extensively on the web, offering monthly mixes on his personal page, but also every Sunday on ‘Sense of Movement’, a Belgian internet radio station; on KPR radio, an internet radio station in Montpellier (France), which later switched to the streaming service of the raggajungle.fr website; and for the ‘Movement Radio’ website, based in Los Angeles.
Respawn then took a break to devote himself to his family. He continued to mix at home for his own pleasure, and continued to seek out tracks he liked, in jungle, dnb, breakcore and dubstep.
He returned to the scene in 2013, mixing ambient, jazzy and dark tracks in the style of Equinox, Paradox and B-Key, as well as all styles of jungle. In 2020 he launched a YouTube channel (Mashup business) and took to Instagram, continuing to mix on various radio stations and at parties.
2024 undoubtedly marks a new era for jungle, with an impressive number of vinyl releases on both ‘old’ and new labels, once again helping this musical movement evolve.

Respawn prend alors une pause pour se consacrer à sa famille. Il continue de mixer chez lui pour son propre plaisir, et continue de chercher des morceaux qui lui plaisent, en jungle, dnb, breakcore et dubstep.

Hij ontdekte Drum and Bass in 1999 toen hij met 3 vrienden op een free party was. Ze kochten hun eerste vinylplaten, speelden hun ontdekkingen aan elkaar, begonnen te mixen en vormden samen de ‘Kitchen crew’. Hij ontmoette Mego in 2002 tijdens een bezoek aan de platenwinkel van Miss Elorak, StressDaBass, en nam anderhalf jaar lang deel aan zijn ‘Megotrip’-show op Radio Panik, waar hij interviews, reportages, nieuws, mixen en verslaggeving van free parties deed.
De Kitchen crew evolueerde binnen de Belgische DnB-scene door mixes, participaties en samenwerkingen. Elk lid vond zijn eigen muzikale pad, sommigen Breaks, anderen Breakcore en Respawn Jungle, een genre waarvoor zijn dorst nooit is gelest, altijd op zoek naar nieuwe geluiden sinds hij het ontdekte. Naarmate de jaren verstreken, ging hij terug in de tijd om te zien waar jungle begon en ontdekte hij rave, dub en reggae. Hij ontwikkelde een levenslange passie voor jungle en nam de jaren 92 tot 94 als zijn favoriete periode. Hij zocht overal naar junglebeats en -ritmes, zowel in de huidige dnb als in dubstep.
Na vele ontmoetingen richtte Respawn in 2004 ‘Mashup Business’ op met Rhumble en Alowa, om de junglegeluiden die ze zo leuk vonden te promoten. Ze organiseerden feesten tot 2008 en waren een van de eersten die de nieuwe golf van Ragga Jungle uit Noord-Amerika introduceerden. Ze nodigden enkele van de meest getalenteerde dj’s en producers van het moment uit voor memorabele feesten (waaronder Twinhooker & Paulie Walnuts van Mad Dem Sound, Chopstick Dubplate, Debaser, Tester, General Malice, U-ome, Raw, Aaron Spectre, Jahba, Ripclaw, Obookubo, FFF, Pisstank, Atik, MC Assassin) en een groot aantal Belgische dj’s (Lady Lite, Meche, Dconvict, Nickynuts, Cedex & Higher Underground, System D, Miss Elorak, Saiko, THX, N-Flow, Riot, Assassimon, Non-Prophet en nog veel meer).

A key figure of the Brussels Jungle scene and a founding member of the Hydra Crew, Rhumble has been mixing Jungle/Drum & Bass since the mid-90s. What counts for him in a set is taking the audience on a sonic journey and introducing them to new sounds. That’s why his mixes are always different, and why he doesn’t hesitate to blend up different styles and moods.

Als een van de hoofdrolspelers in de Brusselse Jungle scene en een van de oprichters van de Hydra Crew, mixt Rhumble al Jungle/Drum & Bass sinds het midden van de jaren ’90. Het belangrijkste voor hem in een set is om het publiek op een sonische reis mee te nemen en ze nieuwe geluiden te laten ontdekken. Daarom zijn zijn mixen altijd uniek en aarzelt hij niet om stijlen en sferen te mixen.

Castor W. is a Belgian born DJ who has been in the underground scene since he was 15. He quickly made a name for himself by taking on many different genres and mixing them all flawlessly, amazing every person who sees him mix ! As a vinyl master, he has earned the respect from industry legends who have been active in the scene since before he was born. His talent and dedication have led him to perform in cities such as Brussels, Ghent, Bruges,… He’s also one of the hosts of the Breaxity radio show every Friday on Urgent.fm and part of the 9000 Snakez & Datablender KRU.

Bruges-based Avalon ‘the liquid guy’ has been 15 years in the game now. Soulful goodness and flow, touched by the Sun and Bass spirit, are the key ingrediënts of his mixing bowl. Avalon has shared line-ups with the likes of LSB and Lenzman and played at various events such as Campo Solar, Steam, What-U-On-About and Nachtshift.
He has a biweekly show on local Bruges radio called ‘Take A Break’, in which he showcases the best in liquid & deep drum & bass. Expect a unique blend from him at Drum & Beer!
